This sample is a confirmed MSIL-based AsyncRAT/DcRAT Remote Access Trojan.

VirusTotal detection: 51/71 security vendors.
The malware establishes persistence via scheduled task creation (schtasks.exe) and exhibits a malicious TLS JA3 fingerprint associated with AsyncRAT C2 activity.

During analysis, the sample attempted outbound connections to the following domains:
- rang.uk.com
- www.rang.uk.com

These domains currently show no direct malware detections but appear to be abused as part of the C2 communication infrastructure.

Behavioral indicators, Sigma rules, and sandbox analysis confirm active malicious intent. The sample is suitable for threat intelligence sharing, detection rule correlation, and infrastructure abuse investigation.

YARA Signatures

MalwareBazaar uses YARA rules from several public and non-public repositories, such as YARAhub and Malpedia. Those are being matched against malware samples uploaded to MalwareBazaar as well as against any suspicious process dumps they may create. Please note that only results from TLP:CLEAR rules are being displayed.
