YARA Signatures
MalwareBazaar uses YARA rules from several public and non-public repositories, such as YARAhub and Malpedia. Those are being matched against malware samples uploaded to MalwareBazaar as well as against any suspicious process dumps they may create. Please note that only results from TLP:CLEAR rules are being displayed.

This fresh 1,288,875-byte x86-64 ELF and sibling a016f6371a48aeceb793cc80e22bbcf2bb946525c6500b56530ee0cd7751ce58 have identical ELF bytes through offset 0x13a9b0 (1,288,624 bytes), SHA-256 of that prefix 86fd6c718c91d569e9bd5e15f36b48f16bd5939538209225373121ecb03aae11. All 199 differing bytes are inside the appended 251-byte JSON trailer. Both trailers parse as config/id/enckey/ParentId; identifier and encryption-field values are deliberately omitted. These are distinct full-file hashes with the same executable code and data, rather than evidence of two code variants. No stripped or reconstructed executable was written. Parser 0x416f4b searches for the config JSON prefix; 0x41702d constructs the config marker and 0x41730b constructs the enckey field marker. Compiled primary HTTP C2 URL http://177.221.180.26/cgi-bin/p.cgi is at file offset 0x136140 (VA 0x537140). Default-selection code 0x41a0a5-0x41a0c2 copies that URL into the working endpoint buffer; check-in code at 0x41ab03-0x41ab30 formats the p.cgi request and reaches the HTTP routine. Other literals include dummy.zero (placeholder), a legacy 16-character onion hostname and an I2P address; these are not claimed as usable or active infrastructure. The JSON trailer and p.cgi protocol are consistent with Prometei, supporting the Prometei tag independently of the upstream Mirai signature. URLhaus already associates this exact file hash with a recent k.php delivery record, so no duplicate URL submission was made. No execution, C2/payload-server contact or current live-activity claim.
