Stage 3 intermediate dropper. Part of a multi-stage phishing campaign targeting Ukrainian businesses (Lure: Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine).1. ROLE IN EXECUTION CHAIN:
This payload is executed from the %Temp% directory (e.g., as "67sSMhFVwqb.exe" or "dcpMBPQNbhkT.exe"). It is dropped by the Stage-2 payload (the "upd..." executable).
2. PERSISTENCE MECHANISM:
The primary function of this Stage-3 dropper is to copy/extract the final Stage-4 backdoor into the Startup directory (typically named "getconfigurator.exe") to establish Windows persistence.
CRITICAL NOTE: This executable and its subsequent payload exhibit polymorphic behavior (hashes change per execution).
